Red’s Review of How Does a Moment Last Forever? by Jenna Michaelson

If you have been following closely the last few weeks, you may remember my post about author Zane Michaelson and how he made a positive difference in my blogging world. I am sure he is tired of my thanking him so I won’t gush anymore over his kindness.

I will however talk about the companion book his wife, Jenna Michaelson published recently. Where the series, I Know What You’re Doing, was from Zanes POV, Jenna now tells her side. These books are based on their life events and will put you on a roller coaster of emotions.

The fans cried for more and Jenna delivered and then some. I highly recommend you read Zanes series and the follow up companion How Does a Moment Last Forever. Both are available on Kindle Unlimited.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

How Does a Moment Last Forever is not a stand alone. Jenna Michaelson gave the fans of her husbands series, I Know What You’re Doing, exactly they wanted. Her side of the story. She gave that and more.

I had a strong need to hear her side. A wife’s perspective of the real life events her husband described. Where Zane’s series ended, Jenna continued. She did not have to write this book, but I am so glad she did.

This companion book was like chatting over some cocktail with a friend and catching up with highs and lows since we last talked. Jenna’s strength, weakness, grief, sadness, joy, courage, and sense of humor was felt in her words. I guess I could simply say emotions but that would not be enough. When Zane added his two cents, throughout this book. It added a spark to the pages I was not expecting. Together they make a great pair.

It’s hard to find the love of your life. If you are lucky enough to find it you have to hang on. Not everything is pretty and wrapped up with fancy bows in marriage. Jenna Michaelson demonstrated how she can be a strong confident woman. One who loves her husband and family enough to work through the worst of times. Searching for your ‘Happily Ever After’ starts with trying to find your ‘Happy Right Now’. Remembering the past, but looking to the future.

* I was fortunate to read an advanced copy. I think writing reviews about real life events is a bit easier than writing others because it is real. It feels personal. Like you have a connection to the author as they share their feelings with the readers.

I highly recommend reading Zane Michaelson’s series I Know What You’re Doing. It was the whole story. Thankfully his wife added more.
